Dear Cory:
I have three questions for you:
1) What is the meaning of the word “mishugginah”?
2) What is the literal and figurative meaning of the word “faygeleh”?
3) Know anybody who meets both of those definitions?

Dear AWF:
What is Cory, an expert in Yiddish already? Intuition tells, my little desert bird, that you know the answers and are poking gentle fun at crazy, gay, goy Cory. At least, he hopes you’ll be gentle. The answer to all three questions is: Ich zol azoy vissen fun tsores! And, if you will indulge a slight digression, it occurs that since HHCIB gets so many inquiries about Yiddish words from sparsely populated States of the Union, it might be a good idea to move Israel there, thus solving the “Middle East problem”.
